Allyson Felix

Allyson Michelle Felix was born Los Angeles on November 18 1985. Her father Paul Felix is an ordained minister in the Master's Seminary, Sun Valley. And her mother Marlean Felix is a teacher at Balboa Magnet Primary School. Felix displayed an early talent for athletics when she was in high school at Los Angeles Baptist High School. Her sprinting ability at the moment. In only 10 weeks following her initial attempt, she placed second in the 200 meters race at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix graduated from high school in 2003 and became a part of Adidas a contract as professional athlete. The following year she attended University of Southern California studying elementary education. Felix won her first Olympic Medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics which took place at Athens Greece. She set a Junior World Record by sprinting 200 meters in 22.18 seconds. In 2005, at the Helsinki World Championships, Felix was the youngest world champion in running 200m. The following year, she defended the title against her Jamaican adversary Veronica Campbell. Felix took part at the Olympics during Beijing London Rio de Janeiro as well as Tokyo consistently placing within the top three of her competitions.
