Annie Wersching Bio

Annie Wersching was born March 28th 1977. She is an American actress. Her roles include Renee Walker on the American TV show 24. Motion capture and voice work was also used for Tess in the videogame by Naughty Dog The Last of Us. Wersching was raised in St. Louis. She was a graduate of Crossroads College Preparatory School, St. Louis' Central West End in 1995. In her early years she took part in Irish dance and belonged to the St. Louis Celtic Stepdancers. Millikin University gave her a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, which was her final degree in 1999. Wersching began her acting career by making an appearance on the television show Star Trek: Enterprise, and moved on to appearances as a guest star in shows such as Charmed, Killer Instinct, Supernatural as well as Cold Case. She played the role of Amelia Joffe, a recurring character in ABC Daytime's soap series General Hospital from March 2007 until November 2007. Her other credits in theater include the Victory Gardens, Marriott Lincolnshire and Utah Shakespearean Festival. Wersching has also been seen in a variety of guest roles on television shows like CSI, NCIS and Rizzoli & Islands Hawaii Five-0 and Body of Proof. She also was a regular on Bosch, an Amazon Prime crime-show Bosch in 2014. Wersching was the catcher of the National League in the 2009 Taco Bell All-Star Legends and Celebrity Softball Game.In December 2012, it was announced that in the PlayStation 3 exclusive The Last of Us, Wersching was the voice actor and mo-cap of the character Tess. Geoff Keighley teased Wersching's character on Twitter prior to her appearance in the Spike Video Game Awards trailer that premiered on the 7th of December the 7th of December, 2012. Wersching is set to play the role of the Borg queen in the Star Trek the second season of Picard, which will premiere in September 2021.
