Beyonce Giselle Knowles was conceived in Houston, Texas on September 4 1981. Tina Knowles, her mom is the designer of her glittering costumes, as does Mathew Knowles is Destiny's Child's manager. Solange is her elder sister (4 years older than her), is releasing her first album. She dances with her bigger sister during DC-3 shows. Beyonce is from Louisiana Creole and African descent. Whitney Houston discovered her and her group. Lovefool by The Cardigans is one of her favorite songs. An elegant pair of path boots for work is her most coveted piece of clothes. She is the author and producer for many of the group's hit songs, including "Jumpin Jumpin" and "Bootylicious" Nasty Girls", "Independent Women", and "Happy Face". According to some sources, she developed a stage persona known as "Sasha" in order to get over her shyness.
