Allyson Felix

Allyson Nicole Felix was born on the 18th of November, 1985, at Los Angeles. Paul Felix, the father of Allyson Michelle Felix is a minister who was ordained by Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix works as a elementary school teacher at Balboa Magnet. Felix's ability to compete in athletics was evident right from the day she started attending Los Angeles Baptist High School. At her first attempt, she placed among the top two athletes in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships in the 200-meter sprint in only 10 weeks. Felix finished high school in 2003, and was signed by Adidas to become professional athlete. Following that, she was a student at the University of Southern California studying elementary education. Felix was awarded her first Olympic medal at the 2004's Summer Olympics In Athens Greece. Felix ran 200 meters in 22.18s and set an all-time junior world record. In the 2005 Helsinki World Championships, Felix became the world's youngest champion for running 200m. The following year, she was able to defend her title by beating Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix took part at her first Olympics during Beijing London Rio de Janeiro as well as Tokyo always finishing in the top three of her events.
